Knee High Boots

Knee high boots can say a lot of things about you.  But when you wear them remember to be careful that they don’t say the wrong things about you.

First,  knee high boots can look very classy yet at the same time they can also be trashy — there is really a line there and it all depends on the matching clothes that you wear. Try on different clothes with the boots and decide if they complement each other, or it makes you look like untidy and unkempt. Try different boots with different heights, they may look the same but the subtle differences can make or break your total appearance.

If you are not sure, I would suggest that you talk to somebody who is used to wearing knee high boots and she may give you sound advice and some fashion tips to boot. Because knee high boots can be quite an investment, you should decide on the style and cut you want and not regret your purchase. I would suggest you visit Amazon’s knee high boots section to compare and buy.

Knee high boots come in many different materials, and generally they can cause a lot of sweating. If you wear them against bare skin and you sweat a lot, this may chafe your skin.

To solve this problem, you can wear them a few hours at a time. Or you can add a barrier between the boots and your skin, like nylons or baby powder to prevent sweating and chafing. While these can make wearing knee high boots bearable, they cannot altogether remove the discomfort.

Some women love wearing knee high boots with high heels, and this can lead to more discomfort if worn for long period. So if you want to wear knee high boots with high heels, remember to rest your feet in between walking and do not wear the boots for long periods of time. If you find that your feet or legs are hurting, then you might have to get used to wearing them.

Since most knee high boots are made of leather, they can be great at keeping your legs warm in the winter months. But remember to bring something to wipe the boots with to remove the road salts during snowy days as the salt can ruin the leather’s luster and leave white marks on the shoes. I would recommend wet wipes.

Definitely, knee high boots are a good investment and look classy and with proper use and care, you will enjoy them for years to come.
